Towmorrow Is My Due Date

A candid in the Holy Land

9. Palestinian getaway. A candid in the Holy Land.

After a tour of the most murky of the old city of Hebron , after visiting the Tomb of the Patriarchs , music, the dabkeh to be precise, I left my "musings." A breath of fresh air. Despite all life seems to continue in Hebron.

In music, what better sign of life and hope can we find? Naively, I asked whether this was a marriage. They replied in the negative.

This is the celebration of a "martyr" killed by the Israeli army during a demonstration against the offensive in Gaza. He left the mosque in another version. Still, I never imagined that we could "celebrate" death with music. Patriotic songs I learned afterwards.

Last but not least. Posters of Palestinian youth were distributed and candy.

Decidedly Hebron is a city like no other.
